Medvedev blunders and the Big Four remain untouched since 2005

(Jürgen Fritz, 04.03.2021) Since July 2005, there have only been four players who have made it into the world’s top two: Federer, Nadal, Murray and Djokovic. Daniil Medvedev had the chance this week in Rotterdam to be the first to enter this sphere. All he had to do was reach the final of the C tournament. But the Russian failed in the very first round. So for the time being, the world’s No. 1 and No. 2 are only for the big four.
