Thus, de Minaur and Bautista Agut move back into the top 20, Sinner consolidates position 8. As the points from the Olympics are removed from the ranking after 52 weeks, Zverev (gold), Khachanov (silver) and Carreño Busta (bronze) drop back.

Nadal and Thiem not in the Top 25 in the ATP Race, Federer not in the Top 200

(Jürgen Fritz, 06.04.2021) If we look back at the first quarter of 2021, we can see: For five top eight players the new season started quite well, especially for Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev, but for three others extremely badly. Rafael Nadal is not in the top 25 in the ATP Race, Dominic Thiem not in the top 35 and Roger Federer not even in the top 200. Instead, we see three big surprises among the top eight.

Nadal – Federer, die Vierzigste; zum vierten Mal in Wimbledon

(Jürgen Fritz, 12.07.2019) Elf Jahre mussten wir auf das vierte Aufeinandertreffen von Roger Federer und Rafael Nadal in Wimbledon warten, die beiden zusammen mit Novak Djokovic größten Spieler aller Zeiten. Es ist das 40. Match der beiden Ausnahmespieler. Häufiger gab es in der Geschichte des Tennis nur zwei andere Paarungen Djokovic gegen Nadal (54) und Djokovic gegen Federer (47). Heute nachmittag ist es soweit, im zweiten Halbfinale trifft Roger Federer, der achtfache Wimbledon-Champion, auf den Sieger von 2008 und 2010 Rafael Nadal.
