Norrie is the new world No. 10

(Jürgen Fritz, 18.10.2021) It was not Daniil Medvedev, Alexander Zverev, Stefanos Tsitsipas or Andrey Rublev who won the Masters 1000 title in Indian Wells, but Britain’s Cameron Norrie, who was not even among the top 20 seeds. He beat Nikoloz Basilashvili in the final of the C tournament to move into the top ten of the JFB 52 Week Tennis World Ranking for the first time.

Alexander Zverev is the new No. 2 in the JFB 52 Week Tennis World Ranking

The ATP (because of the pandemic break in 2020) not only evaluates results that already lie two to three years in the past, it also does not award a single point for Olympia, one of the five most important tournaments in the world. If only the results of the last 52 weeks are taken into account and the Olympics are included, the world ranking looks as follows.
