Zverev is No. 1 in the world for the first time in the JFB Ranking

(Jürgen Fritz, 06.06.2022) Djokovic was unable to defend his Roland Garros title. He was eliminated by Nadal in the quarter-finals and drops from 1 to 3 in the JFB Ranking. Medvedev was even eliminated in the round of 16. This means that Zverev, who reached the semi-finals, takes over the top position for the first time and Rafael Nadal moves up from 5 to 4 with his victory, the finalist Ruud from 9 to 5.

Four Spaniards in the semi-finals of the Andalucia Open

(Jürgen Fritz, 10.04.2021) All respect, at the Andalucia Open in Marbella all four Spaniards prevailed in the quarterfinals, including the still 17-year-old Carlos Alcaraz (133), see picture, who surprisingly beat the Norwegian Casper Ruud, the world No. 26. This means that there will be an all-Spanish semi-final in Marbella (ATP 250) today. At the Sardegna Open in Cagliari, on the other hand, only one Italian was able to prevail.
