In the JFB Ranking, the Spaniard rises from 8 to 5 with only eight tournaments played in the last 52 weeks. Gleichwohl wird er in Roland Garros beim bedeutendsten Clay-Turnier der Welt, an 2 gesetzt, die beiden anderen an 4 und 8. Andere werden dagegen durchgehend massiv benachteiligt, dadurch aber das gesamte Turniergeschehen verzerrt.
