Djokovic moves closer to the two Spaniards, Fritz closer to the Top Eight

(Jürgen Fritz, 13.10.2022) After his tournament win in Tokyo, Taylor Fritz rises from 10 to 9 in The True Tennis World Ranking and Tokyo finalist Frances Tiafoe from 17 to 16. Novak Djokovic’s tournament win in Astana moves him closer to Alcaraz and Nadal and further away from Ruud.

Djokovic remains No. 1 in JFB Ranking, Nadal rises to 4, Fritz to 15

(Jürgen Fritz, 22.03.2022) Taylor Fritz’s win in Indian Wells moves him into the top 15 for the first time. Despite another break in play, Novak Djokovic remains at No. 1 in the JFB 52 Week Tennis World Ranking, while Rafael Nadal moves up to No. 4 with his win in Acapulco and his run to the final in Indian Wells with only ten tournaments played in the last 52 weeks.

Zverev schlägt erstmals Andy Murray

(Jürgen Fritz, 13.10.2021) Alexander Zverev hat nun erstmals auch den vierten der sogenannten Big Four geschlagen. In Indian Wells rang der 24-Jährige in der Runde der letzten 32 den Schotten Andy Murray in ihrem dritten Aufeinandertreffen nach 2:07 Stunden mit 6-4, 7-6 nieder und steht damit im Achtelfinale des Masters 1000-Turniers.

Draw: This is how the round of 16 could look in Indian Wells

(Jürgen Fritz, 06.10.2021) The seventh and penultimate Masters 1000 tournament (C category) starts on Thursday. 96 players will be competing in the men’s main draw in Indian Wells. 48 are fighting for the last 12 free places in the main draw in the qualifying tournament. 17 Top Twenty players will be competing in California.

Djokovic also withdraws from Indian Wells

Djokovic und Nadal bleiben auch 2020 das Maß der Dinge

(Jürgen Fritz, 02.03.2020) Die beiden alles überragenden Spieler der 2010er Jahre (die zwei holten 28 der 40 Grand Slam-Titel, mehr als doppelt so viele wie alle anderen zusammen!) bleiben auch zu Beginn der neuen Dekade das Maß der Dinge. Vor allem Novak Djokovic startete unfassbar stark ins neue Jahr. Aber auch Rafael Nadal schaffte am Wochenende seinen ersten Turniersieg des Jahres.
