Now, results count not only for up to 12 months, but for up to 36 months. It also contains some other fundamental deficiencies and distortions. In order to have an overview of what actually happened in the last 52 weeks, without tendency skews, the JFB Ranking was developed.

The JFB 52 Week Tennis World Ranking on 26 April 2021

(Jürgen Fritz, 26.04.2021) In recent months, the ATP Ranking has repeatedly come in for criticism. The points system, which has been heavily modified due to the long pandemic break in play from March to August 2020, is said to be distorting, illogical, unfair and hardly understandable. JFB therefore developed a different scoring system that only takes into account results from the last 52 weeks, is less tendentious, more appropriate and quite simple to understand.

Karatsev schlägt Djokovic im Halbfinale der Serbia Open in 3:25 Stunden-Schlacht

Aslan Karatsev ringt gestern Abend im Halbfinale der Serbia Open in Belgrad Novak Djokovic in dessen Heimat – das Turnier wird von Novaks Bruder veranstaltet – im längsten Dreisatz-Match des Jahres nach 3:25 Stunden mit 7-5, 4-6, 6-4 nieder. Dabei wehrt Karatsev 23 Breakbälle ab und erringt den „größten Sieg meiner Karriere“.
