Pablo Carreno Busta beat Tsitsipas defeater Filip Krajinovic 6:2, 6:4 in the final of the Hamburg European Open, the biggest tennis tournament in Germany. The Spaniard thus won a D tournament (ATP 500) for the first time in his career and is the new world No. 9 in the JFB 52 Week Ranking. In Bastad (E), Sweden, Casper Ruud won, thus moving back into the top 15, and in Newport (E), USA, Kevin Anderson won his seventh ATP title.
