In the JFB Ranking, the Spaniard rises from 8 to 5 with only eight tournaments played in the last 52 weeks. Nadal breaks own world record: tournament winner for the 19th year in a row

In the final in Melbourne, the 35-year-old beat US-American Maxime Cressy 7-6, 6-3. This was the Spaniard’s 89th tournament victory. He won at least one ATP tournament every year from 2004 to 2022, 19 years non-stop. That has never happened before.

Am Mittwoch traf er gegen 23:30 Uhr in Melbourne ein, wurde die ganze Nacht im Flughafen festgehalten und verhört. Dann wurde sein Visum annulliert, er ausgewiesen. Dagegen gehen seine Anwälte nun gerichtlich vor.
